Kingston Human Capital are currently supporting a Brisbane-based public sector organisation with the appointment of a Change Delivery Manager (AO8).
Reporting to the Director, you will implement change management and communication strategies to support the effective delivery of two projects to improve internal processes and system of work.
You will work closely with the senior leaders, the program team and other key stakeholders leading the transition, ensuring the workforce is engaged, prepared and supported.
What you will be doing
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership and manage project implementations in alignment with internal project frameworks, governance requirements and organisational change methodologies.
- Provide independent strategic change management advice, communication strategies, submissions, briefs and transition plans to foster effective stakeholder engagement and deliver quality outcomes.
- Develop project plans and tools aligned with program change deliverables, applying appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realization, governance, risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, to develop and implement end to end planning, evaluation and project outcomes.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to promote and deliver the successful adoption of change and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
- Represent the project team at internal forums, meetings and committees.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Previous experience as an Organisational Change Manager / Consultant, ideally within the public sector.
- Experience implementing recommendations from external reviews, audits or inquiries, including leading change and translation of these recommendations in complex environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or similar
- Relevant qualifications in Change Management and/or Project Management
- $100 - $105 per Hour, plus 12% Superannuation
- 12-month initial assignment, with possibility of extension
- 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Easily accessible via public transport, and onsite parking available
- Weekly pay cycles, with no payroll fees
- Expert public sector consultants to support you throughout your assignment
