You will do this by working closely with business areas, architects and platform teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure and supportable AI solutions, while providing hands-on guidance and technical expertise throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Some of your key responsibilities will include
- Design and build AI-enabled solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, AWS Bedrock and related services
- Translate business requirements into technical solution architectures, workflows, agent designs and integration patterns
- Provide technical leadership across proof of concepts, pilots and production implementations
- Lead the technical design of AI applications, agents, copilots and automation solutions
- Implement orchestration, prompt engineering, agent workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge grounding and integration patterns
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise data sources, APIs, business systems and knowledge repositories
- Support the development of semantic layers, vector stores, knowledge repositories and retrieval mechanisms required by AI solutions
- Mentor and guide developers, solution builders and business teams using AI platforms
- Work with cloud platform, infrastructure, identity and security teams to enable AI workloads
- Implement technical controls supporting privacy, security and responsible AI requirements

What this role offers
- Initial contract to 24 September 2027, with likely extension
- Up to $120 per Hour + Superannuation (negotiable)
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Carseldine office based with flexible work arrangements
- On-site parking available at Carseldine office
- Close to Carseldine train station if travelling via public transport
- Weekly pay cycles with no payroll fees/deductions
- Ability to contract as Pty Ltd Contractor (criteria applies)
- Support from specialised public sector recruitment consultants for the duration of your assignment
