Our government client is is seeking an experienced and proactive AO3 Program Support Officer to provide operational support across key business functions including fleet management, procurement, onboarding, facilities, and general administration. This hands-on role supports both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of project outcomes and regional business continuity.

You’ll utilise a range of systems and processes to deliver reliable and high-quality program support services. Reporting to the local team leader, your work will focus on fleet administration, procurement, training logistics, facilities coordination, records management, onboarding, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage fleet operations including servicing, repairs, vehicle use monitoring, and lease oversight
- Oversee car park and vehicle logbook compliance
- Coordinate purchasing and PPE procurement
- Book in-house training, travel, and resources
- Support onboarding for new staff and contractors
- Coordinate facility maintenance and WH&S-related activities (under direction)
- Manage reception, mail, courier services, and call handling
- Maintain accurate registers, records, and databases
- Provide quality, courteous service to internal and external clients
- Support tender registration, induction, and security access management
- Ensure operational standards meet departmental and WH&S policy requirements
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Friendly, professional, and respectful communication style
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internal systems
- Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and customers
- Understanding of public sector policies, WH&S, and administrative procedures
- Commitment to ethical and professional behaviour, aligned with the QPS Code of Conduct
