About the Opportunity

Are you a skilled administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, varied role? A State Government department is seeking a Program Support Officer to join their regional operations team, providing high-level business and project support to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery of programs.

In this dynamic AO3 role, you’ll contribute to a variety of work from vehicle fleet coordination and purchasing to onboarding new staff and supporting internal systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the glue that holds a busy team together—managing logistics, resolving issues, and making processes better.

In this role you will:
  • Assist with end-to-end vehicle fleet coordination, including maintenance, compliance, and lease management
  • Provide administrative support across procurement, car park logistics, internal training, and staff onboarding
  • Coordinate internal resources such as travel, couriers, security access, mail distribution, and register maintenance
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely and courteous service, while ensuring adherence to WH&S and departmental governance requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
  • Proven experience in administration or business support within a complex or regulated environment
  • Confident with a variety of software systems, databases, and MS Office applications
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and service-focused mindset

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on support role with plenty of variety and responsibility. You'll be joining a team that values initiative, professionalism, and collaboration.
