Our state government client, who is delivering extensive upgrades across South-East Queensland, is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their high-performing infrastructure procurement team based in Brisbane CBD.

About the Role:

In this role, you will assist a fantastic infrastructure procurement team with a high level of administration support particularly in the areas of procurement, contract management and other project administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Create contracts and enter tender and variation details to progress to financial approval
  • Support internal contract managers with processes such as contractor performance plans (plus other such contract management documentation)
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure satisfactory outcomes
  • Support the day to day operations of the project team by undertaking administrative support functions as directed to assist with team objectives
About You:

We're seeking a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-focused environment. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience in contract administration or project administration, ideally within the construction industry or infrastructure project environment
  • Prior government experience (highly regarded)
