We are working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Document Controller
Your new role
In the role of Advisor (Document Control) you will be part of the Project document control team and be responsible for project document control activities to support successful delivery of the project.
- Review and coordinate updates to various Project Document Control Management Plans and procedures, ensuring consistent application and adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support all users of the document management processes to ensure processing of documents and communications are compliant, efficiently, and captured in a timely manner.
- Continually assess the solutions provided for document and information management activities and services provide help to your team with ongoing improvements.
- Ensure all documents and information provided to the team are securely stored, tracked, and responded to by the relevant team members and external parties as per project document management plans and contractual timeframes.
- Facilitate regular training session with project team members on document control procedures and TeamBinder usage.
- Coordinate the complex review and approval processes for all Program / Package related documentation
- Develop and maintain workflows in the Document management System.
- Coordinate the Administration / Transfer of project data sources such as InEight Document (TeamBinder), MS Teams, SharePoint and Content Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of complex correspondence, reports, auditing, submissions, document/drawing number requests and other correspondence in accordance with departmental standards.
- Assist with Archiving requirements (Content Manager) in alignment with the department.
- Conduct Document Control Quality Checks of submissions of documentation / packages in alignment with the Document Control Management Plans and overall Document Control practices.
- Assist with the configuration of InEight in alignment with the Program requirements including identifying continuous improvement opportunities within InEight Administration configuration allowances.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience with InEight Document (TeamBinder)
- Demonstrated experience in document control on large-scale, complex projects
- Strong document control experience in a major project environment, ideally infrastructure/rail.
- Ability to manage high-volume documentation in a fast-paced project setting.
- Must be residing in Brisbane, Australia to be considered for this role.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal History Check.
Contract up to July 2027, possible extension
Brisbane, CBD
$69.22 to $75.10 Per Hour + 12% Superannuation (PAYG - Agency Contractor)
Full time hours (Monday to Friday)
