As Finance Business Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor to divisional leaders, driving performance, accountability, and improvement across a critical portfolio. This is more than just a finance role - it's your chance to make a real difference in the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with divisional leaders to support financial and FTE performance, forecasting and budgeting
  • Lead and coordinate divisional budget planning
  • Maintain and advise on service level funding arrangements and reporting
  • Analyse and report on key financial risks, opportunities and performance trends
  • Provide accurate forecasting to inform executive decisions and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with a wide range of clinical and operational stakeholders
  • Support and mentor junior finance staff (Finance Business Partners & Finance Officers)
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and enhance budget integrity
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Strong background in financial management, reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience working within a healthcare or hospital is highly desirable
  • Skilled in variance analysis, stakeholder engagement, and providing strategic financial advice
  • Confidence using S/4HANA, DSS Necto, BPT, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of leadership
