This role is about much more than numbers. It’s about making sure a large government department runs smoothly, ethically and efficiently, with a key focus on equipping others with the tools, knowledge and processes to do the same.
As the Business Analyst you’ll be the go-to person for bringing structure and clarity to complex finance processes.
You’ll help the team ensure that compliance obligations are met, and that manual, paper-based processes become digital, automated workflows that save time and reduce errors.
A big part of your impact will come from building a central knowledge hub with easy-to-use guides, process maps and training materials – so that everyone in the department can do their work with confidence and compliance.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Modernise how things are done by designing smart online workflows and replacing manual processes with automated solutions using S AP S/4HANA, Signavio and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Maintain a finance knowledge base, create clear process maps, and manage training sessions so everyone knows how to work to best practice.
- Join a team of 10 passionate professionals who care about governance and innovation, and contribute to decisions that shape how finance is managed across the department.
- You love to get into the detail, but you can also see the big picture of why compliance and good processes matter.
- You’re confident with digital tools, automation and data analysis, and enjoy finding ways to do things better.
- Experienced in SAP S/4HANA, Signavio and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- You are proactive, curious, and have a strong sense of accountability.
