We are seeking a proactive Finance Officer (AO4) to join a high-performing government finance team in Brisbane. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional who’s ready to step in and provide immediate support across key financial functions.
You'll work within a collaborative team and contribute to essential processing and reporting activities using Finance One / Technology One. With hybrid flexibility and a consistent workload, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments and accurate results.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain, update and reconcile financial records in line with departmental policies
- Assist with month-end reporting tasks and audit support
- Enter and analyse financial data using Finance One / Technology One
- Respond to internal stakeholder queries and provide financial administrative support
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a government finance team at AO4 level
- Strong working knowledge of Finance One / Technology One
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated reliability and accountability in a finance support role
