A key focus of the role is managing recruitment activities, including participating as a panel member to recruit and select for significant infrastructure projects.
Your new role
- Independently undertake operational recruitment activities, applying your knowledge of recruitment and selection policies to deliver successful outcomes.
- Work closely with selection panels, providing confident and informed advice to guide decision-making, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and uphold fair and transparent processes.
- Provide expert advice on workforce management, role descriptions, and compliance with relevant legislation and directives.
- Maintaining accurate HR systems and documentation, such as SAP HR, organisational charts, and FTE reporting
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance HR business processes.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and HR policies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage conflict and balance stakeholder needs effectively.
- Able to prepare and manage HR forms and documentation with precision
- Able to build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Resilient, adaptable and able to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment
- Ability to pass a Criminal History Check
- Valid working rights for Queensland, Australia
What's in it for you
- 12-month initial contract, with potential 2 x 12-month extensions
- Hourly rate of $58.02 – $63.69 + Super
- 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday only
- Immediate start, pending Criminal History Check and notice periods
