This role is perfect for an experienced finance professional who thrives in a business partnering environment, offering strategic insights to improve financial sustainability and support executive decision-making.

You’ll lead a small team, act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and FTE reporting.

How You'll Contribute:
  • Oversee performance reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis for a division
  • Support senior leadership in financial performance discussions
  • Analyse key FTE trends, sustainability initiatives, and financial risk
  • Work closely with leaders to optimise funding governance
  • Lead, coach and mentor a small team, fostering continuous improvement
  • Contribute to a high-performing culture that prioritises financial governance, ethics and patient outcomes
About Your Application:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a large, complex organisation (healthcare experience highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to work with executive leadership on financial strategy
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Experience using enterprise finance systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, DSS, BPT)
Mandatory Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Business (essential)
  • CPA, CA, CIMA or ICA qualification (highly desirable)
  • Willingness to comply with vaccination and other onboarding requirements
  • Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold full working rights
