Our client is a large Queensland Government department, centrally located in Brisbane CBD.
We are looking for a Service Delivery Officer to join their Payroll Services business unit on a contract basis until 30 June 2026, with potential extension.
Your new role
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Process and validate timely and accurate end to end payroll and establishment transactions
- Provide business support including data entry, spreadsheeting and word processing
- Work as part of a collaborative team
- Identify, recommend and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships
- Deliver high quality customer services
- Demonstrate strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deadlines
- Contribute to an accountable, fair and safe work environment
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an end-to-end Payroll position
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and various payroll systems
- Ability to work flexibly and independently as an effective team member
- Clear, concise and respectful communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid working rights for Queensland, Australia
What’s in it for you

- Excellent rate of $49.40 – $54.81+ Superannuation per Hour (depending on experience)
