What this role offers you:
- 2 Year safe contract
- $80-90 per Hour + Superannuation (PAYG)
- 7.25hr per Day / 36.25 Hours per week
- Both Brisbane CBD office and on-site locations
- ASAP start date
- Lead, manage and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of school infrastructure projects that may range in value from $1M to $100M.
- Engaging and leading multidisciplinary project teams of external project managers and consultants.
- Oversee and maintain critical project information, including milestones and expenditure, within departmental systems such as SAP, ensuring data accuracy, currency, and compliance with departmental reporting and audit standards.
- Prepare coherent and politically sensitive reports, correspondence and submissions to key stakeholders and clients. This includes: the Minister, Director-General, ISD executive and other departmental stakeholders.
- Support the work of other team members through mentoring and training opportunities.
- Provide high level support to unit managers by retaining an interest in creating, maintaining, renewing and improving built environments for the benefit of end users
- The successful candidate will have proven experience in Senior Project Management projects, preferably within the QLD State Government sector. A strong background in infrastructure management, leadership and outward thinking.
