What you will be doing
In this role, you will lead the implementation of the new Library Services Platform (LSP), overseeing project planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, resource management, risk and issue management, and delivery of key project outcomes
Core responsibilities and activities include:
- Provide high level project management skills to manage the delivery of the Library Services Platform ensuring outcomes enhance student and staff experience
- Lead and implement change management strategies, including managing stakeholder expectations and delivering communication, engagement, and training initiatives, to support effective adoption of the new platform and build staff capability
- Manage relationships with external vendors and implementation partners, ensuring delivery of contractual obligations and agreed outcomes.
- Monitor and report on project performance, including achievement of deliverables, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies, to support delivery within approved resourcing and financial constraints.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, governance frameworks, and relevant legislative requirements.
- Proactively identify, manage and escalate project risks and issues including impacts on scope, timeline, resourcing and project outcomes.
- Prepare and present project documentation and reports
To succeed in this role, you will likely be an experienced Senior / Principal Project Officer, Project Coordinator or Project Manager who demonstrates:
- Well-developed project management skills
- Ability to develop, manage and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes within budget and resourcing constraints
- Ability to manage a project team and provide consistency in project management methodology, tools and resources to key stakeholders
- ability to foster a positive and collaborative team culture
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide written reports and present updates on project status, project closure, risks, issues and financial performance in line with project management frameworks.
- Experience in implementing, upgrading or transitioning enterprise systems, digital platforms or similar business-critical services
What this role offers you
- 3-month contract, with likely 3-month extension
- Immediate start
- Hybrid work arrangements (3 days home, 2 days office) across a variety of office locations (Southbank or Gold Coast preferred)
- 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday

- $80 - $85 per Hour + Superannuation
