Looking for your next challenge? This is your chance to step into a critical support role on a landmark project, driving growth and innovation in Queensland’s north coast region.

Your new role
As a  Project Support Officer, you’ll be right at the centre of project delivery. You’ll keep the wheels turning for a high-energy project team- coordinating day-to-day admin, managing priorities, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.
  • Support the Senior Advisor (Project Assurance) and Project Director by managing enquiries, providing timely responses, and overseeing diary management.
  • Organise team meetings, prepare and distribute meeting papers, and maintain effective systems and processes.
  • Coordinate project administration, including minor HR and procurement tasks, while ensuring compliance with public sector standards.
  • Communicate professionally with diverse stakeholders and take appropriate action on behalf of project leadership.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture within the team, actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will need to succeed to excel in this role, you will bring:
  • Experienced in administration, ideally within large infrastructure or government projects
  • Exceptionally organised and calm under pressure
  • An excellent communicator, able to juggle competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused
  • A current Class ‘C’ Driver’s Licence and public sector experience will be highly regarded
  • The ability to undertake and pass a Criminal History Screening
What’s in it for you
This fantastic opportunity on the North Coast offers you:
  • Hourly rate of $49.40 - $54.81 + 12% Superannuation
  • An initial 12-month contract, with a potential extension
  • Monday to Friday only (Max 38 hours per week)
  • Weekly pay cycles
  • Late October start date
