We’re seeking a capable and confident AO6 Senior Finance Business Partner to join a government client’s Management Accounting team.
You'll work closely with the Manager, Financial Services, and act as the finance business partner for your assigned portfolios. With the current post-holder having recently transitioned, they’re seeking someone to step in quickly and hit the ground running.

- Work on high-impact public-facing portfolios
- Get exposure to high-level reporting across influential business portfolios
- Act as a key finance business partner for internal divisions
- Lead budget tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting activities
- Perform external reporting and expenditure tracking for campaigns
- Prepare journal entries, vendor set-ups, and perform SAP-based finance functions
- Assist with governance and compliance relating to finance processes
- Conduct financial modelling using intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Contribute to process improvement and collaborate with stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Proven finance business partnering experience in a complex environment
- Working knowledge of SAP (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with Power BI or Power Query (beneficial, not required)
- Background in government finance (highly desirable)
