Are you ready to contribute to a supportive and high-profile government entity?

We’re seeking a capable and confident AO6 Senior Finance Business Partner to join a government client’s Management Accounting team.

You'll work closely with the Manager, Financial Services, and act as the finance business partner for your assigned portfolios. With the current post-holder having recently transitioned, they’re seeking someone to step in quickly and hit the ground running.

  • Work on high-impact public-facing portfolios
  • Get exposure to high-level reporting across  influential business portfolios
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key finance business partner for internal divisions
  • Lead budget tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting activities
  • Perform external reporting and expenditure tracking for campaigns
  • Prepare journal entries, vendor set-ups, and perform SAP-based finance functions
  • Assist with governance and compliance relating to finance processes
  • Conduct financial modelling using intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Contribute to process improvement and collaborate with stakeholders
Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Proven finance business partnering  experience in a complex environment
  • Working knowledge of SAP  (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Power Query (beneficial, not required)
  • Background in government finance  (highly desirable)
