- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to maintain general ledger integrity
- Assist with the preparation of general and specific purpose financial statements
- Ensure accurate reporting using SAP and Excel
- Interpret and apply Australian Accounting Standards and relevant public sector legislation
- Contribute to the creation and review of finance policies and procedures
- Support asset accounting and maintain financial registers (beneficial but not mandatory)
- Proven experience in financial accounting or reporting(government experience desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of SAP(desirable)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and reporting
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
