Our government client is seeking an experienced AO6 Senior Finance Officer to support costing, pricing, and billing activities!

- Maintain and improve cost allocation and billing systems
- Provide accurate costing information for internal and government reporting
- Assist with budget development, particularly around revenue streams
- Contribute to month-end processes – journals, invoicing, reconciliations
- Produce project financial reports and support billing activities
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure pricing transparency and process clarity
- Collate and analyse data to provide concise financial advice
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvements
- Ensure adherence to governance and financial legislation
- Background in financial management within government or large organisations
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing processes
- Advanced Excel skills – including data analysis and modelling
- Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and propose solutions
- Excellent communication skills for engaging internal/external stakeholders
- Proactive, team-focused and eager to drive continuous improvement
- SAP experience(highly desirable)
