Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their Corporate Finance team.

- Lead tax and compliance activities in a supportive environment

- Lead annual Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) preparation and compliance
- Conduct monthly reviews and analysis of General and Subsidiary Ledgers
- Prepare technical position papers and recommend improvements
- Provide strategic input on accounting policies and system enhancements
- Support ad hoc financial duties to ensure service delivery
- Extensive FBT knowledge and experience
- Strong technical accounting skills and policy knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to work independently and contribute in a team environment
- CPA qualification (highly desirable)
