At Kingston Human Capital, recruitment isn't just what we do - it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

From day one, you’ll feel the difference. We’re proud to be a high-performing consultancy, but what truly defines us is our culture. A team grounded in trust, depth, and genuine care for one another and their clients. For you, that means joining a workplace where both performance and people matter. Your growth, wellbeing, and career goals won’t just be acknowledged – they’ll be actively supported.

We don’t do transactional recruitment. We act as advisors, partners, and ambassadors – and you will too. You’ll be trusted to own your work, backed to succeed, and surrounded by people who want to see you thrive.

With continued growth, we are now seeking experienced Senior or Principal Recruitment Consultants to join our team in Brisbane CBD.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end temporary and contract recruitment for the Queensland Government, local councils, and government-owned corporations.

As a trusted supplier on multiple public sector panels, we’re relied on to deliver outstanding service – and that’s where you come in.

You will be supported by Talent Managers and a Team Admin Assistant, giving you the capacity to focus on stakeholder engagement, role briefing, shortlisting and placement. No admin drags. Just recruitment.

Looking for a warm desk?  We’ve got them ready to go.

The Day to Day

  • Conduct job briefs, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, shortlisting, referencing and compliance
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, procurement leads and internal HR contacts
  • Maintain accurate candidate and client records using our ATS and public sector reporting systems
  • Partner with our Talent Managers to ensure consistent candidate flow and proactive pipeline building
  • Collaborate with your team to meet panel delivery timeframes and quality assurance standards
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing insights, referring talent and supporting colleagues across desks
What You Can Expect

Your Territory – All of Queensland. Not just a tiny patch. No turf wars with suburban branches. You’ll own the entire region – end to end – with the freedom to build and manage your desk without interoffice trade-offs.

A Leadership Team That’s in It with You. You’ll be supported by a strong team of leaders to support your development and help you unlock your potential. With our entire leadership team based in Brisbane, there is no red tape, no waiting weeks for feedback or sign-off. Got a smart idea or want to pilot a new initiative? Table it, talk it through, and kick it off within the week. We move on great ideas, fast.

AI Training That Includes You – Not Just Execs. We’re embracing AI hard and fast – and not just at the top. Each month, we work with leading AI consultancies to train and upskill our entire team. Hands-on AI training, practical tools, and the chance to create your own AI-driven solutions. You won’t be left behind – you’ll be ahead of the curve.

Learning That Grows with You.$2,000 personal learning and development allowance each year that allows you to invest in the growth that matters most to you. Attractive base salary and quarterly commissions – because you should be rewarded regularly for the value you create.

Clear Rules, No Politics. We play fair. With solid business rules in place, there’s no push-pull between desks or consultants. The roles you win for your desk? They stay yours. No internal noise – just results.

Tools That Make You Stand Out  You're not just making sales calls here or finding great talent for our customers. We create high-quality whitepapers, tools, and client resources so when you reach out to a client, you’re bringing real value, not a sales pitch. You’ll have extensive research-based assets to help you open doors, build credibility, and close with confidence.

We Put You in the Spotlight.  We help you build your desk’s momentum by putting you front and centre in the public sector. You’ll attend major public sector conferences each year and we invest in sponsorships to make sure you get noticed.

Who We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally with experience recruiting for Government/Public Sector in Queensland
  • Solutions-Oriented: You understand the urgency of your client needs and you excel at rapid, quality placements and long-term relationships. You understand that Temp Recruitment is all about anticipating your client's needs and solving problems before they happen
  • Mission-Driven: You're driven by the opportunity to offer incredible service to the Public Sector. High-quality recruitment, always!
  • Relationship Builder: Your skill in building and sustaining professional relationships sets you apart, and you're genuine about the relationships you build
  • Life-Long Learner: Your commitment to personal and professional growth matches ours!
We’re serious about performance, but we also know how to keep perspective. If you value reliability, professional trust, and a team that works with purpose, you’ll be in good company.
