We are seeking an organised and proactive Administration Support Officer (AO4) to join a Queensland State Government department located in Brisbane’s CBD. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys supporting service delivery functions that have a meaningful impact on the community.
You will provide essential administrative, coordination and customer service support across a range of participant-related activities. This includes managing documentation, maintaining records, coordinating appointments, supporting workflow tasks, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure high-quality service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to ensure team objectives are met.
- Maintain accurate records, correspondence and digital files, including data entry into information and systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and release information in line with legislative requirements.
- Deliver excellent customer service to participants, customers, service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Update participant plans, manage workflow tasks and escalate matters appropriately.
- Coordinate appointments, prepare briefs and manage quotes, approvals and payments.
- Support business improvement activities and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.
- Arrange travel or accommodation support as required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent organisational and analytical capability to manage deadlines and priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to team success.
- High-level administrative skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems.
- A willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technologies used within the public sector.

- $59.16 per hour + superannuation.
