About the Opportunity

We are working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Program Support Officer located in Buderim, Sunshine Coast. 
  
Your new role

The Program Support Officer role utilises a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to project managers and team members which enhance the timely and effective delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with appropriate Legislation, organisational policies and procedures.

Some of your responsibilities will include the delivery of activities associated with:
  • Assist in the coordination of Right to Information (RTI) responses for the region.
  • Capture information into the departmental electronic document records management system, ensuring the security and accuracy of records, including assisting in the upskilling of regional staff on accurate recordkeeping practices.
  • The application of recordkeeping management principles, policies and standards.
  • Management of inactive records.
  • Other duties as determined by the Advisor (Administration).
About You

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • A proven ability to apply knowledge of information and records management processes, including proficiency in using Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (eDRMS) to accurately capture, classify, and maintain secure records.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in the preparation and review of records, documents and communications, including a strong focus on accuracy, spelling, grammar and formatting.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and translate complex information into clear, concise and well-structured written content for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines while ensuring attention to detail.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse teams, engaging stakeholders, and embracing change to support organisational goals effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide guidance to colleagues and support effective delivery of projects and services.
What’s in it for You?

Contract up to June 2027, possible extension
Buderim Location (Sunshine Coast Region)
$51.12 to $56.72 Per Hour + 12% Superannuation (PAYG - Agency Contractor)
Full time hours (Monday to Friday)
