About the Role
We are seeking an engaging and solutions-focused Customer Relations Officer (AO4) to join a Queensland State Government team on a 6-month contract, with strong potential for a further 6-month extension.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing customer enquiries and complaints, providing professional case management support within a legislative and policy-driven environment. You will work closely with customers, business partners and internal stakeholders to deliver timely, customer-centred outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, a passion for service delivery, and experience handling complex customer matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and evaluate complaint information and investigation outcomes to ensure responses meet required standards.
  • Source additional information as needed to support accurate and timely case resolution.
  • Provide clear, professional and customer-focused written and verbal communication across multiple channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, business partners and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting new procedures, work practices and local strategies.
  • Support project activities and broader team priorities as required.
About You
To succeed in this position, you will bring:
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in case management, complaint handling or service-related environments.
  • Ability to analyse information, apply guidelines and make sound, customer-focused decisions.
  • Confidence navigating discussions with diverse stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team culture.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, policy-driven environment with competing priorities.
