About the Opportunity

Our Ipswich-based client is seeking a confident and capable Principal Finance Partner (AO7) to join a fast-paced, complex State Government finance division.

In this role, you will directly support service delivery within a major Hospital and Health Service. You will partner with operational managers, clinical leaders and senior finance stakeholders across diverse service areas, providing high-quality advice that strengthens financial performance and future planning.

Your Contributions
  • Partner with cost centre managers to guide financial planning and performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
  • Provide accurate analysis, commentary and advice for senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality briefs, reports and financial documentation.
  • Analyse KPIs and trends to support decision-making and improvement.
  • Contribute to process efficiencies and reporting enhancements.
About You
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Solid management accounting and finance capability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex operating environment.
  • SAP 4HANA experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Intermediate–advanced Excel skills.
  • Tertiary finance qualification required (CPA not essential).
