We are looking for an experienced ICT Resilience Manager to join TMR on an initial 12-month contract in Carseldine.

What you will be doing
In this role, you will lead the review, development and implementation of ICT resilience frameworks in line with best practice standards across the Information Technologies Branch (ITB) within Transport and Main Roads.
  
You will liaise with senior stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and lead ICT resiliency risk management practice and champion ICT resiliency capability across the Department.
  
Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide ICT Resiliency leadership input into Strategic and Operational Plans ensuring those activities identified in plans and roadmaps contribute directly to the goals and values of ITB.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive the adoption of ICT resilience practice across TMR.
  • Lead and manage ITB's ICT Resilience Program, in line with best practice methodology, to ensure effective and efficient response to disruptive events minimizing impact to ITB and TMR.
  • Perform the role of ITB Resilience Coordinator and liaise with internal and external stakeholders during emergencies and critical incidents involving ICT services to facilitate the restoration of operations.
  • Lead and manage the development and continuous improvements of scenario testing and provide support in addressing learnings to improve efficiency and effectiveness of DR/BCP practices and processes within TMR.
  • Lead the strategic analysis, review, reporting and advice on key ICT resilience artefacts, including, issues that escalate and/or result in departmental disruptions.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate experience incorporating the below:
  • Leading ICT Resilience, Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), or Operational Resilience programs within large and complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven capability in developing, reviewing, and implementing ICT resilience frameworks aligned to industry best practice standards (such as ISO 27001, 22301, NIST etc)
  • Strong experience managing enterprise-wide resilience initiatives, including governance, risk management, incident response, and recovery planning.
  • Experience leading resilience scenario testing exercises, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews to improve organisational capability and readiness.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and respond during major ICT incidents, emergencies, or service disruptions.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, business stakeholders, vendors, and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice, reporting, and recommendations relating to ICT resilience risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives across DR, BCP, crisis management, and resilience practices.
Relevant industry certifications, and similar experience within Government, would be very highly regarded.
  
What is on offer
  • $97 - $105 per Hour, plus Superannuation
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Carseldine based – 50% on site, 50% from home
  • 12-month initial contract, potential extension
