About the Opportunity

We are working with a state government client who is seeking a Housing Support Administrator for their office based in Rockhampton.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide administrative support to Regional Housing Coordinators and staff by facilitating the preparation of accurate tenancy and leasing documentation, correspondence, and housing records.
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting within the Employee Housing System (EHS) and other departmental systems, ensuring records are up to date and compliant.
  • Assist with property management processes by coordinating tenant entry and exit documentation, scheduling inspections, and managing routine correspondence.
  • Prepare legislatively required documentation in collaboration with Regional Housing Coordinators and ensure it meets departmental policy and compliance standards.
  • Respond to enquiries from staff, tenants, and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex matters to the Regional Housing Coordinator where required.
  • Support program delivery by contributing to the smooth operation of the pilot program, including scheduling, travel bookings, and other logistical tasks.
Your new role

As a Regional Housing Administration Assistant, you will provide essential administrative assistance to Regional Housing Coordinators and staff, helping to deliver efficient and compliant housing services.
  
About You

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Proven experience providing high-level administrative support in a complex environment.
  • Strong document management skills, including preparation and maintenance of accurate records.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional correspondence
  • Experience responding to enquiries from a range of stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of tenancy, leasing, or property management processes (e.g. entry/exit documentation, inspections, correspondence) will be highly regarded but not essential.
