About the Opportunity

We are working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Program Support Officer.
  
Your new role

In the role of Program Support Officer, they will provide support to the team’s engineers and technical staff. The team is responsible for delivering corridor management activities for third party access and development assessments throughout the infrastructure projects and programs.
  • Manage quality assurance of application documentation utilising online platforms. This will involve significant engagement with utility providers.
  • Provide effective assistance for project managers to ensure tasks are completed within specified deadlines (including legislative deadlines) and processes utilising strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Working with stakeholders to facilitate effective engagement with the team
  • Maintenance of technical email mailboxes and assigning actions to relevant personnel
  • Show strong self-management and initiative.
  • Preparation of process documentation and the identification of process improvements
  • Interpret construction industry documents.
  • Show ability to utilise and interpret mapping systems.
  • Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental legislation (incl. WH&S), policies and procedures, and governance obligations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience in a similar role – project administration.
  • Ability to support teams, on infrastructure projects and programs.
  • Any experience with compliance, forms or structured workflow processes.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Have strong admin &/or project support experience.
What’s in it for You?

Contract up to January 2027, possible ext.
Buderim Location (Sunshine Coast Region)
$51.12 to $56.72 Per Hour + 12% Superannuation (PAYG - Agency Contractor)
