About the Opportunity

We are working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Project Advisor (Significant Projects) to undertake specialist project activities.

Responsibilities include:
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute relevant documents.
  • Minute meetings, track items, and follow-up on updates to actions/decisions.
  • Manage internal risk meetings/workshops; document identified risks, learnings, and issues.
  • Working with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Research and prepare a range of high-level project documentation, including briefing notes, reports, and submissions.
  • Manage the document control and review process, draft and update project management plans.
  • Coordination of tender and procurement processes.
  • Project Health Checks
  • Surveillance Activities – Contractor / Contract Administrator Performance.
  • Undertake other duties relevant to the competency level of the position as required.
Your new role

You will provide high level administrative and project support services to project team members to ensure the efficient administration of the project, and adherence to organisational policies and procedures.

You will contribute to the overall success of a project by ensuring that the project team has the resources, information, and support they need to perform their work effectively.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Previous experience as Project Officer or Project Advisor.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including those at a senior level.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within QLD Government would be very highly regarded.

$69.21 to $75.09 per hour + Super
