Contract Manager (AO6) | New Queensland Government Contract | Brisbane CBD  | AO6 level 

Kingston Human Capital is partnering with a Queensland Government agency to recruit an experienced Contract Manager (AO6) to oversee one of the State’s newest contracts.

This is a opportunity to step into a highly contract environment where your work will directly impact service delivery across Queensland.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery, governance and performance of a major contract supporting essential public services. You will work closely with stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams to ensure strong commercial outcomes, contact compliance, and value for money for the state of Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end contract performance and service delivery outcomes
  • Lead supplier relationship management and governance activities
  • Monitor contract compliance, milestones, risks and reporting obligations
  • Support continuous improvement and contract optimisation initiatives
  • Provide high-quality advice on contract interpretation, governance and issue resolution
  • Prepare briefings and performance updates for executive stakeholders
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex government or large-scale service contracts
  • Strong knowledge of contract management frameworks and procurement principles
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Excellent written communication and reporting skills
  • A proactive, outcomes-focused approach in high-accountability environments
Experience in complex service delivery environments and/or major government programs will be highly regarded.
