About the Opportunity
You will join a well-established finance team and provide key support to senior advisors across budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and research portfolio management.

The position is suited to a finance professional who enjoys management accounting work, financial analysis, and supporting strategic financial planning in a collaborative environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the portfolio.
  • Assist with financial planning and management accounting activities.
  • Provide support to Senior Business Advisors on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Manage budget monitoring, financial reconciliations, and acquittals.
  • Assist with financial administration related to the research portfolio.
  • Contribute to financial reporting, modelling, and data analysis.
  • Perform transactional finance and financial data entry where required.
  • Assist with finance projects and additional reporting tasks.
What Else You’ll Need to Know
  • Full-time hours: 36.25 hours per week (72.5 hours per fortnight).
  • Management accounting experience is essential.
  • Strong Excel skills (beginner to intermediate) required.
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle systems beneficial but not required.
  • Government, education, or commercial finance backgrounds considered.
