AO5 Procurement Advisor x2

Building, Construction & Maintenance (BCM) / Infrastructure

6-month contracts | Brisbane CBD | Hybrid after onboarding

Our client
A large Queensland Government organisation, is seeking two AO5 Procurement Advisors to join a fast-paced, delivery-focused team with multiple procurements ready to progress. This is not a slow, linear environment, it suits people with energy, initiative and pace who enjoy being front-facing with stakeholders.

The Role
Support procurement delivery across building, construction, maintenance and subcontractor-related categories, working closely with senior procurement staff in a high-output team. You’ll manage competing priorities with a strong focus on timely delivery and value-for-money outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice aligned to policy and procedures
  • Help deliver procurement solutions across BCM/infrastructure
  • Support compliance, performance and value outcomes
  • Assist with sourcing, supplier engagement and contracts
  • Monitor risks and support mitigations
  • Help ensure timely, cost-effective fulfilment
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
About You
  • Procurement experience (ideally BCM / infrastructure)
  • Proactive, outcomes-focused and comfortable working at pace
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and clear communication
  • Able to juggle priorities and hit deadlines
  • Strong governance, planning and compliance knowledge
  • Positive, practical, solutions-first mindset
  • Action-oriented — you deliver without needing to be chased
