Join a team who support major infrastructure programs across Queensland by providing expert financial governance, reporting and advisory services.
  
As a Senior Project Finance Officer, you will play an integral role supporting the financial management of capital projects, working closely with project managers, procurement professionals and quantity surveyors to ensure projects are delivered within budget and governance frameworks.

Your Key Contributions
  • Develop and maintain project financial performance reports that provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
  • Analyse project budgets, source documents and expenditure to support effective financial management of capital projects.
  • Monitor financial performance, investigate variances and provide recommendations to mitigate financial risks.
  • Extract financial data from corporate systems and analyse information using advanced spreadsheets.
  • Maintain financial data integrity across systems, databases and reporting tools.
  • Support forecasting, cash flow monitoring and expenditure tracking across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement specialists and quantity surveyors to ensure strong financial governance and reporting outcomes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Demonstrated experience in a finance role involving budgeting, reporting and financial analysis
  • Strong Excel skills and a high attention to detail with strong analytical capability
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and meet reporting deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders
