About the Opportunity - Director, Engagement and Communications

Your Key Responsibilities: ï»¿
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and stakeholder engagement strategy 
  • Provide strategic advice on stakeholder management and communication to the CEO and Board 
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community representatives 
  • Represent Coexistence Queensland in forums and collaborative initiatives 
  • Lead and manage the communication and engagement team to achieve key outcomes 
  • Optimise the organisation's brand visibility across various communication channels.

Gerard Kerr is the Co-Founder and General Manager of Executive Search and Selection at Kingston Human Capital. With over 20 years of recruitment experience, Gerard possesses deep networks and extensive expertise in managing complex search and selection projects across various sectors, including local, state, and federal government, statutory authorities, government-owned corporations, and ASX-listed companies.


Gerard also has more than five years of experience serving on various boards and committees, where he has either chaired or provided insights into talent strategies, rapid growth pathways, and industrial relations concerns.
